Hrithik's latest seems to have run into world of trouble. Makers of Kites had hired Hollywood director Brett Ratner to work on the 'international' version of the film. Titled, Kites - The Remix, this made-for-Hollywood version claimed faster editing and 'western sensibilities'.
But despite the efforts, we have now received news that Kites - Remix has sunk. The movie had a nightmarish start in the UK (one of the lowest openings ever) and we're still to receive the film's BO report from the United States. Take a look at some numbers. Kites - The Remix debuted at the 37th spot and on its opening weekend collected approximately Rs. 6.29 lakhs from 31 screens - the per screen average working out to just � 294.
Sold to distributors at a steep price, it's now certain that Hrithik's latest is hurting many out there!
