India�s most respected director Mani Ratnam is celebrating his birthday today (June 2), amidst the release tension of his magnum opus Raavan in Hindi, Raavanan in Tamil and Villain in Telugu.
Mani Sir as he is affectionately called normally shuns birthday celebrations and tries to keep it a very private affair.
Sources close to him say that this year too it will not be any different as he will be immersed in his work.
It is going to be another busy day for Mani Ratnam, as he shuttles between Chennai and Mumbai studios, trying his best to finish all post production work of the film.
Mani knows there is hardly 16 days more for the release of the trilingual, and he has to show it to the censors, probably before the end of the week.
