Guess the hottest movie in trade at the moment? It is Walt Disney�s Prince of Persia- The Sands of Time, popularly called POP.
The publicity promos of the film says- POP is based on the video game, which follows an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.
The trade in Tamil Nadu says it has enough live action and spectacle and are calling it �the next Mummy�. All areas in TN are selling like hot cake and in fact theatres are willing to give it attractive MG�s.
In Coimbatore territory alone the film has got Rs 55 lakhs as MG from the theatres. The buzz is that it has sold all areas in TN for a whopping new record price of Rs 2.60 Crore. POP in English and Tamil is releasing big in nearly 112 screens across the state.
